For weeks, Republicans have been working hard to stop the Juggernaut Obama. Then a couple of weeks ago, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) said the resistance to Obamacare — if it succeeded — could be President Obama’s Waterloo and the tide started to change. Free Market Health Care Reformers can’t get too excited, but there is change in the wind and with an August recess coming up, the American people just might help win….
Congress Critters do not seem to be advertising their ‘town hall’ meetings or other appearances. Suggest we all post anything we might hear on their public appearances and call or email various talk show hosts that are willing to spread the info.
Anna Eshoo has a town hall meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th, 7pm at the Menlo Park City Council chambers (701 Laurel St). The meeting agenda is ostensibly High Speed Rail. I think I’m going to drop by just in case the citizens are allowed to ask questions on any subject.
